About
Downhill mountain biking is a race against the clock where riders race down mountains and hills whilst travelling at speeds of up to, and in excess of, 60km/hour. There is great technical skill involved, tackling a range of obstacles such as drop offs, jumps, trees and steep and/or rocky terrain. This makes for a fantastic event for spectators and competitors alike. The South Australian Downhill Mountain Bike State Series is held between April and October. Inside Line Mountain Bike Club (ILMTB) has over 400 members, with competitor numbers at around 150 – 200 per race.ILMTB caters for all levels of skills and experience, with riders from 11 to 55+ years of age and our club is a training ground for South Australia’s top downhill mountain bike riders.New riders are always welcome!
