Lightning Velo is a recreational and racing cycling club based in Long Beach, California. We currently have about 250 members with diverse interests in every aspect of cycling. But they all have this in common—they love to ride, want to promote cycling and cycling related activities, and enjoy the friendship and the camaraderie that this club has to offer.
We are very involved in our community. We participate in the Cal-Trans, Adopt-A-Highway program. In fact we are one of the few adopting organizations who actually do their own monthly highway cleanup.
