Founded in 1976, Bike Burlington is one of the oldest bike clubs in Iowa. Leroy Bickel and Kay Perry started the club after taking their first RAGBRAI trip with fellow riders in 1976. Nearly 40 years later Bike Burlington continues to provide wonderful opportunities for cycling enthusiasts of all sizes and speeds from the southeast Iowa and west central Illinois area. We sponsor races such as Burlington Iowa's annual Snake Alley Criterium, and we have a strong presence on RAGBRAI each year.
